The Nintendo 3DS is a handheld games console that carries over the same interface as previous DS Models and the Game & Watch systems.  It was originally released in Japan on Febuary 26th, 2011 and America on March 27th, 2011.

It is a completely new line-up of systems in the DS family and can display stereoscopic 3D  without glasses.

At launch, the original 3DS was released with two colors: Cosmos Black and Aqua Blue.
