Twelve Tales: Conker 64 was the  cancelled prototype of the Nintendo 64 game Conker's Bad Fur Day.

It was first shown off in E3 1997 under the title "Conker's Quest" and was supposed to continue the storyline that the GameBoy Color game "Conker's Pocket Tales" delivered.

During it's development, Rare had already created other games that achived critical-acclaim such as Diddy Kong Racing and Banjo-Kazooie.

The developers were critisized for constantly creating games starring innocent, cute Animals.

In 1999, Rare revealed that they were going to revamp the entire game to appeal to an older demographic.

First beleived to be an April Fool's joke, the game was cancelled and replaced with a far more mature version entitled "Conker's Bad Fur Day".

On September 17th, 2012 a YouTube user by the name of "IonEI Falcon" uploaded a 30 minute gameplay video of Conker 64 to the public.
